HEY, I'M KATYA
I am a media creative & digital marketer specialising in Social Media, Content Creation and Photography. However, I have also experience in Videography/Camera Operating, Post-Production and Graphic Design.
I have recently graduated from MSc Digital Marketing at the University of the West of England, having received my undergraduate degree in BA(Hons) Media Production at Solent University, and have experience across social media, content creation, photography, video, design, and post-production.
Within digital marketing, I have experience with content creation and managing social media accounts. In 2021, I volunteered for a charity called Bridge The Gap, where I created content plans and strategies for use on their social media channels, working closely with the charities CEO to discuss strategies and ideate further content. Within this role, I also designed graphics for use on their social media. I have also worked for Solent University, creating engaging content for their Instagram stories on open days, and I worked as an in-store photographer for a local store ‘Re:So’, with the content being used on their social media channels.
Gaining a degree in Media Production taught me a wide breadth of skills, and I have experience working as an events and studio photographer, camera operator, live-streamer, and editor. Some of the other clients I have worked for include BBC Music Introducing LIVE, New Theatre Royal Portsmouth, DV Mission Film Festival, Mid-Hants Railway, Re:So, and Portsmouth Darkfest.
