PROJECT CHANGE

Project change is a photographic series aiming to highlight how the reality of global consumerism in a disposable society can affect our environment, focusing on the impact of this on our oceans. This series explored the impact the fashion and cosmetic industries and single-use plastics have on the environment. Each image shows seafood which has been juxtaposed by an object or something that represents an environmental issue, such as plastic pollution or toxic chemicals. The final photograph shows there is no seafood left, illustrating the consequential impact of consumer behaviours within a fast-paced, global, disposable society.
